Family law matters cover a wide and growing range of issues. Each case is different, with different facts, people, and family components. No two cases are the same, and your family law legal matter will be given the personalized and individualized attention it deserves.
For over 30 years, Susan M. Lantz has successfully and primarily practiced in the area of family law, handling and trying cases including: divorce, dissolution, legal separation, child custody (including special needs children’s issues), child support, spousal support (alimony), shared parenting, paternity/parentage, grandparents’ rights, post-decree modifications, and civil protection orders / domestic violence.
Every legal situation is unique, as are the needs of each client. Susan understands the importance of providing you with personal experienced legal services, and endeavors to not only involve you in the process, but also educate you about the legal aspects of your case so that you can make well-reasoned and informed decisions. As part of your representation, time will be taken to gather necessary information and you can assist (and save money) by taking the time to gather certain information in advance of your office conference (see Suggestions below). Susan will work closely with you to identify and explain your options; to develop a sound strategy for your case; and, to outline realistic goals and expectations so that your legal representation is tailored just for you.
You may call, fax or use the email contact form to arrange your free initial telephone conference.
Suggestions in advance of your office conference:
- Make a list of any and all questions you have, and bring that list with you.
- Prepare a chronology (time line of events) of the circumstances and facts of your case (This will save time, and that means it will also save you money)
- Make copies of pertinent documents (which documents will be discussed during your free initial telephone conference) - and bring them with you! If you are unable to make copies, copies will be made for you and your originals returned to you.
- If your matter concerns divorce / legal separation / dissolution, begin to obtain mailed paper copies of your credit reports from Experian, Equifax and TransUnion. (Due to internet privacy concerns, credit reports obtained from the internet are highly discouraged!)
